Sessions and models
Start a session, choose its agents, and keep the work moving.
A session is one conversation about one piece of work. It keeps the messages, files, agent answers, and decisions together. Anyone who can open the project can return to the session and see what happened.
Starting a session
- Open a project and choose New session.
- Describe the result you want. Add useful context, files, and limits in the first message.
- Send the message. Each agent in the session takes a turn and then waits for the next message.
- Use Stop if you need to end work that is still running.
Choosing models
Each agent uses a model from a provider connected to your workspace. The model bar shows the current choice. You can change it before the next turn. If you are unsure, keep the default chosen by your workspace.
A model can answer only when its provider is connected. An administrator manages those connections in Settings → Providers & keys. See Keys and accounts.
Working with other people
- Use Pass to ask one person to take the next step. Add a note so they know what you need.
- Use Watch when you want an alert if the session needs a person.
- Write
@and a name to notify a teammate in the session. - Use Invite a guest when someone outside the workspace needs access to this session only.
